Wrigley Field is a baseball stadium in Chicago, Illinois, United States that has served as the home ballpark of the Chicago Cubs since 1916.

Wrigley Field was built in 1914 as Weeghman Park for the Chicago Federal League baseball team, the Chicago Whales. It was also the home of the Chicago Bears of the National Football League from 1921-1970.

Wrigley Field was called Cubs Park between 1920 and 1926.

On January 1, 2009, Wrigley Field hosted the second annual National Hockey League Winter Classic.

Wrigley Field Parking, Chicago Cubs Parking Information and Tips

Parking around Wrigley Field is heavily restricted. In some areas close to Wrigley Field parking is not allowed on the streets without a resident permit sticker. During night games there is no parking allowed on any of the streets in the Wrigleyville area without a resident permit sticker showing on your car's windshield. CARS WILL BE TOWED! The Cubs operate and supervise a parking lot located at 1126 W. Grace St. Parking passes can be purchased through the phone by calling 1-800-THE-CUBS.
